I finally tried that trail you recommended last month. The views were incredible, especially around the midpoint where the forest opens up to the lake. We ended up staying much longer than planned because the sunset was just perfect. I think we'll go back next weekend with the camping gear. You were right about the parking situation though, we had to get there really early. Next time I'll definitely take your advice and bring the mosquito spray too! The switchbacks near the summit were a bit challenging IsCMOElUlEXIXu with my dog, but she managed just fine. Overall it was exactly the kind of reset I needed. Thanks again for the suggestion, it made for a perfect Saturday. We are already looking at the map to find another route nearby.

I finally got around to reading that book you lent me a few months ago. It started a bit slow but once I got past the first few chapters I was completely hooked. The character development was just incredible and the plot twist around page 250 completely caught me off guard. I have been recommending it to everyone at work. I think my favorite part was the way the author described the landscape, it almost felt like another character in the story. Have you read anything else by that author? I wanted to ask you before I picked up another one. I saw they have a new release coming out next spring. I might just preorder it now while I am thinking about it.
