Yeah I finally got around to trying that new hiking trail on Saturday. The weather was perfect and the views at the summit were absolutely worth the climb. I started early around 7am so I beat the crowds and had the whole path to myself for the first hour. The trail was about 8 miles round trip with some steep sections but nothing too crazy. I saw a couple of deer near the creek about halfway up which was pretty magical. Packed some sandwiches and ate lunch at the top just taking in the scenery. My legs were definitely feeling it the next day though. Let me know if you want to join next weekend I'm thinking of trying the blue loop this time. Also I awKi2DgvMn need to pick up some new hiking boots before then because mine are starting to wear out. A few friends might come along too so it could be a nice group outing.

I finally finished that book you recommended and the ending caught me completely off guard. I thought I had figured out the twist around chapter twelve but I was totally wrong. The character development was really well done especially how the author slowly revealed each person's backstory. Some parts were a bit slow in the middle but the last hundred pages made up for it entirely. I stayed up way too late on Tuesday because I couldn't put it down. Have you read any of their other work I'm thinking about picking up the earlier novel you mentioned. I like how the writing style feels conversational but still has a lot of depth. The themes about memory and identity really stuck with me. Thanks for the recommendation I would have never picked it up on my own. Let me know if you have any other suggestions I have a long flight coming up and need good material.
