Hey, I just got back from the hike we talked about. The trail was completely clear, not muddy at all. We saw a bald eagle circling near the summit, which was pretty incredible. The weather held up perfectly, too. I brought that new backpack I was telling you about, and it made a huge difference. Very comfortable even with a full load of water and snacks. Let me know if you want to borrow it for your trip next month. Also, that podcast you recommended was the perfect soundtrack for the walk down. I've got a few episodes left, but I'm really enjoying it so far. We should plan the next one soon. Just finished reorganizing the garage and it feels like a completely different space. I finally installed those wall-mounted shelves I was looking at. They were pretty straightforward to put up, took about an hour total. Now I can actually park the car inside without dodging boxes and bins. I also sorted through all the old paint cans and disposed of them properly at the local recycling center. It feels good to check that off the list. Did you end up finishing that book club selection? I loved the twist in the middle, but I thought the ending was a bit predictable. Still, a solid read overall. We should grab coffee this weekend and catch up properly. There's a new place downtown that does pour-overs.
