Hey, yes I got the message about the art show — I think Saturday works best for me. There is a small cafe right next to the gallery that has really good chai lattes. We could grab one before we walk through the exhibits. I heard the new installation is mostly interactive sculpture, which should be a nice change from the usual paintings. Also, the weather looks clear so we might even sit outside for a bit. Let me know what time you want to meet, and I can text the others. I think parking should be fine if we go early. Anyway, it sounds like a fun afternoon. Talk soon.
Also, I just remembered my cousin might join us if that's okay — she is staying with me for the month and loves modern art. She also knows a lot about ceramics, so if there is any pottery in the show she will definitely point out the techniques they used. I always learn something new when she tags along.
Oh and I saw that the museum has a new membership option if we decide to go more than once this year. Might be worth checking out. oC2uuVWV7j85 Let me know your thoughts!

Oh I completely forgot to tell you about the hiking trail we tried last weekend. It was about four miles round trip with a pretty steady incline but totally worth the view at the top. There is a waterfall about halfway that most people miss because the sign is hidden behind some bushes. We actually saw a deer drinking from the stream right below it which was really special. The trail itself is not very crowded if you start early like before eight in the morning. I think you and your family would really enjoy it especially if you pack a small picnic for the top. Just make sure to bring enough water because there is no good spot to refill along the way. Also the parking lot fills up fast so arriving early is key. Let me know if you want the exact directions I can send you the GPS coordinates.
