Hey, I got your message about the garden project. I think going with perennials is the smart play since they come back every year without much fuss. I've been digging up that back bed and found some old bulbs that might still be viable. Let me know if you want to come by this weekend and take a look at what I have. I also came across a great article about soil prep that I can forward to you whenever.

Actually I've been reading up on composting techniques and it's way simpler than I thought. Just keeping a balance of greens and browns and turning it every couple weeks makes a huge difference. My pile has been heating up nicely and I think I'll have some usable compost by mid-summer. If you want to start one I can show you the setup. It doesn't take much space and really cuts down on kitchen waste.

Also wanted to mention that the local library has a seed exchange program that starts next month. You can bring in your extra seeds and swap for things you actually want to grow. I picked up some rare tomato varieties last year that did really well in containers. Might be worth checking out if you are planning your spring planting. d3jOiuXZsT

I saw your note about the book club selection and I think the current pick sounds really interesting. I'm about halfway through and I love how the author weaves together multiple perspectives. The chapter about the coastal town was beautifully written and it made me want to visit that region someday.

We should figure out the meeting schedule for next month. I know a few people wanted to switch to a weekend slot but I think weekdays work better for most of the group. Let's poll everyone and see what the consensus is. I can set up a quick survey if that helps.

Also I finally got around to organizing my bookshelves by color and it looks amazing. It's a little impractical for finding things quickly but visually it's so satisfying. I might do the same with my spices in the kitchen just because the gradient effect is so pleasing to look at. Anyway let me know your thoughts on the meeting timing. d3jOiuXZsT
