Yeah I think the best approach is to just finalize the booking details for next weekend. I checked the weather and it looks like it will be perfect for hiking. We should probably pack some rain gear just in case though. I was also thinking we could try that new Italian place downtown on Saturday night. Let me know if you have any dietary restrictions I should mention when I make the reservation. I can handle the hotel booking if you want to sort out the transportation. Does the train arrive at Grand Central or Penn? We can figure out the rest once we are there.
I noticed the early morning flights are significantly cheaper but they arrive very late in the evening. Maybe we can split the difference and take the mid-morning option so we don't waste the whole day traveling. Either way let me know what works best for your schedule.

Honestly I think the project timeline is a bit aggressive given the current resource allocation. We have three major deliverables due in the same week and the team is already stretched thin. I plan to bring this up in the next status meeting to see if we can stagger the deadlines or temporarily bring in an additional contractor. The client seems reasonable so I think they would appreciate the transparency rather than us over-promising and under-delivering. I will draft a revised schedule this afternoon for everyone to review before the meeting.
