I was just thinking about that road trip you mentioned last month. It sounds like you had an amazing time exploring the coastal route. I've always wanted to drive along that stretch of highway and see the small towns along the way. The photos you posted were gorgeous especially the ones at sunset near the lighthouse. I finally got around to planting those seeds you gave me. The weather has been perfect for it lately with just enough rain to keep the soil moist without flooding anything. I started them in the raised bed by the fence where they'll get morning sun but some afternoon shade. A few of them have already sprouted which is exciting to see. I've been checking them every morning before work. My neighbor said I should add some mulch around the base to help retain moisture and keep the weeds down so I might try that this weekend. The vegetable patch is coming along nicely too. The tomatoes are starting to ripen and I've already picked a few peppers. There's something really satisfying about growing your own food even if it's just a small garden. Let me know if you want to come by and see it sometime.
