I think you are right about the garden this year. We tried planting tomatoes a bit earlier than usual and they are doing great so far. The soil needed some extra compost though. I ended up mixing in some organic matter and that really helped. The herbs are coming along nicely too especially the basil and rosemary. I am not sure if we will get enough for a full harvest but it has been fun experimenting. The weather has been weird lately with all that rain then suddenly hot. The peppers seem to love it though. I am thinking about trying some zucchini next season. BcwojYirwLCYYKw A friend of mine swears by raised beds but I am not convinced yet. Maybe I will try one small one and see how it goes.

I finally watched that documentary everyone has been talking about. Honestly I was not sure what to expect but it was really well done. The cinematography was beautiful especially the aerial shots of the coastline. I learned a lot about how they restore old buildings and the techniques they use. It is amazing how much work goes into preserving those structures for future generations. BcwojYirwLCYYKw The interviews with the craftspeople were my favorite part. They really care deeply about their work and it shows. I might look into volunteering for a local restoration project in my area. There is something satisfying about keeping history alive and visible. The music in the film was also great and really set the mood. I will probably watch it again to catch some details I missed the first time around.
