I think the trail selection really depends on what time of year we go. If we aim for late spring the higher elevations should be clear of snow but we might still get some rain. I checked the park website and they recommend starting early to avoid afternoon thunderstorms. We should probably plan for about six hours total with breaks included. Make sure everyone has proper boots because some sections get pretty rocky especially after the switchbacks.

The key is to let the dough rest overnight in the refrigerator. That extra time develops the flavor and makes the texture much better. I tried rushing it once and the result was noticeably denser. Also when you add the herbs do it right at the end of mixing so they don't break down too much. Rosemary works best but thyme is also good if you want a milder taste. Just adjust the salt based on what you are serving it with.
