Yeah I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend. It took way longer than I expected because I kept finding stuff I'd forgotten about. There were boxes from when we moved that I never unpacked. Found some old photos and a few books I'd been looking for. I ended up making three piles: keep donate and toss. The donate pile was the biggest. I took a load to the local drop-off center on Monday. Feels good to have that space cleared out. Now I can actually park both cars in there. Next weekend I'm planning to tackle the shed. That might be a bigger project though. My neighbor said he has a truck if I need to haul anything away. I might take him up on that offer. Anyway that's what I've been up to. Hope you're doing well. Actually I also rearranged the shelves while I was at it. I found a better system for storing the holiday decorations and camping gear. It feels much more organized now. I can actually find things when I need them.

I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me last week. It came out really well. I added some roasted vegetables on the side and it made the whole meal feel complete. The sauce was lighter than I expected but still had a lot of flavor. I think next time I'll double the garlic because you can never have too much. I served it with a simple salad and some crusty bread. My family really enjoyed it. I'm always looking for new dinner ideas so if you have any other recipes you'd recommend send them my way. I've been trying to cook more at home instead of ordering takeout. It saves money and usually tastes better anyway. I also made a batch of that soup you mentioned a few months back. That one is now in my regular rotation. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm also thinking of trying that grilled chicken recipe with the lemon herb marinade next week. It looks pretty straightforward and the ingredients are simple. Let me know if you've tried that one yet.
