Hey, just got back from the hike you recommended. The trail was in great condition, not too muddy, and the views at the summit were absolutely worth the early start. We packed sandwiches and plenty of water, which was smart because there's nowhere to refill once you're up there. The weather held up perfectly too, sunny but cool. I think the dog enjoyed it even more than we did. Any chance you want to hit another trail next weekend? Let me know what time works for you. I'm free all day Saturday.
Also, I finally tried that barbecue place you mentioned. The brisket was incredibly tender and the smoky flavor was just right. Their coleslaw had a nice tangy kick to it. Definitely going back there soon. Let me know if you want to join next time.

I spent the whole afternoon reorganizing the garage and it finally looks decent. Found a bunch of old paint cans that need to be disposed of properly and a few boxes of holiday decorations I forgot we had. The new shelving unit made a huge difference. Everything has a place now and I can actually park the car inside again. Feels like reclaiming a whole room of the house.
