Yeah I finally made it up to Eagle Peak last Saturday. Started at the trailhead around 7 AM and it was already warm out. The first mile is pretty steep but after that it levels out a bit. I brought way too much water honestly but better safe than sorry. Saw a couple of deer near the ridge line which was really cool. Made it to the summit around 10 and the view was totally worth it. You could see all the way to the reservoir on a clear day. I sat up there for about 20 minutes just taking it in. The hike down was tougher on the knees than I expected honestly. Definitely going to do it again maybe in a few weeks when the leaves change. 1203yOi9LHnqc I should probably invest in some better hiking boots before then though. I finally got around to listening to that series you recommended. I started it last week during my commute and honestly I was hooked after the first episode. The host has a really engaging style and the production quality is top notch. I like how they weave in interviews with actual experts rather than just speculation. Some of the later episodes get pretty deep into the science of it all which I actually enjoyed more than I thought I would. I'm about halfway through season two now and there was one episode that completely changed my perspective on the whole topic. I can see why you thought I would like it. Have you listened to the bonus episodes yet I heard they add a lot of context to the main storyline.
