We finally got the patio furniture set up and it looks great. I was worried the cushions would be too light but they match the stone perfectly. The BBQ is ready to go and we’re planning a small get-together next weekend. You should definitely come by – it’ll be low key but fun. I also have that book you lent me last month, sorry I haven’t returned it yet. The garden is really blooming now with all that rain we had. Hope your week is going well too! mr7cdV2zsA
By the way, I tried that new recipe you sent – the one with roasted vegetables and quinoa. It was actually really good. I added a bit of lemon zest and it brightened everything up. Let me know if you have any other recommendations. Also, the dog has been digging up the tulip bulbs again – I think he’s after the squirrels. Anyway, talk soon!

Hope you got the photos I shared from the hiking trip last weekend. The trail was beautiful but definitely more challenging than we thought. We ended up taking a detour because of a fallen tree but it led to this amazing overlook. The weather was perfect – sunny but not too hot. I’ll send you the GPS coordinates if you want to try it yourself. Just make sure to bring plenty of water. The wildflowers are still out and the views are incredible this time of year.
Also, I finally started reorganizing the garage and found that old box of concert tickets you gave me. Brings back memories! I’m thinking of framing a few of them. Let me know if you want yours back. Also, my neighbor recommended a good podcast about history of architecture – you might like it. It’s really well produced and easy to listen to while doing chores. Talk to you soon!
