I was just thinking about what you said the other day regarding hiking trails. We finally made it out to that trail you recommended near the river. The weather was perfect and we saw quite a few birds along the way. A friend mentioned they had been there last fall and said the foliage was stunning. We brought lunch and ate at the summit which felt amazing. The whole loop took us about four hours with plenty of breaks. I took some photos but they really don't capture how beautiful it was. You should definitely go again soon if you haven't been in a while. We're already planning our next trip and might try the northern route this time. Let me know if you want to join us. It would be great to have company and you know the area better than we do. HSnckPR9pL4qgZt I think spring would be ideal for the wildflowers with all the blooms.

I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me last month. It turned out really well and was easier than I expected. The key was letting the sauce simmer long enough to deepen the flavor. I added some mushrooms and a pinch of red pepper for heat. My partner said it was one of the best meals I've made recently. We paired it with a simple side salad and some crusty bread. I'll definitely be making it again for company. Next time I might try adding grilled chicken or maybe some Italian sausage. The leftovers were just as good the next day for lunch. Thanks for sharing the recipe with me. I've been cooking more at home lately and experimenting with different cuisines. Let me know if you have other recommendations. I'm thinking about trying a Thai curry next weekend if you have a go-to recipe for that too.
