Oh, I totally forgot to mention — I finally tried that new pasta place downtown. The carbonara was incredible, super creamy and authentic. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice even though it was a bit warm. Service was a little slow but the food made up for it. You should definitely check it out next time you're in the area. Let me know if you want me to send you the address. Also, I'm thinking of adopting a cat from the local shelter. I saw their adoption event this weekend and fell in love with a little orange tabby. She's about a year old, super playful, and already spayed. Wish me luck! I'm going back tomorrow to fill out the paperwork and hopefully bring her home.
