You know, last week I was telling Mark about that new hiking trail by the lake. We tried it Saturday morning and it was pretty decent — not too steep, good views. He said his dog loved the stream crossings. Anyway, I think we should do a group trip next month when the foliage changes. Let me know if you want to carpool. I’ll bring extra snacks. The weather has been great for it. I heard there’s a short detour that leads to a waterfall if the water levels are good. We should check it out. Bring good shoes though, some parts are muddy.

Oh, I finally tried that new ramen place downtown. The broth was rich but not too salty. I went with Kim and we shared the gyoza — they were crispy on the bottom, really good. The wait was about twenty minutes but it moved fast. I think you’d like the spicy miso option. Let’s plan to go next Tuesday after work if you’re free. Also, I finished that book you lent me.
