I saw you asked about the weekend. Honestly it was a good one. We finally got to that new ramen place on 3rd. The broth was rich and the noodles had that perfect springy texture. I think you would have liked the spicy miso version. After that we walked around the little park nearby. There was a small band playing jazz covers and the weather was just right. I didn't even think about work the whole time. Next time you should definitely join us. Let me know if you want to try that place next week. I heard their karaage is incredible too.

By the way I finally watched that documentary you recommended. It was longer than I expected but really fascinating. The part about the early experiments really stuck with me. I started reading a bit about the history after that. Have you seen the follow up series? I think there is a second season coming.
