hey, really enjoyed catching up the other day. i finally tried that hiking trail we talked about and it was absolutely beautiful. the weather was perfect and we packed a really nice picnic. totally wore myself out though, slept like a log that night. oh, i also finally attempted that sourdough recipe you sent me. it turned out okay for a first try! a bit dense, but the taste was there. the cat was extremely interested in the dough, kept trying to bat at the bowl. just finished that book you recommended, the one about the old lighthouse keeper. it took me a while to get into it but once i did i could not put it down. the descriptions of the storms were so vivid. it made me want to visit the coast again. i also spent last weekend reorganizing the garage, finally got all the tools hung up on pegboards. it is incredibly satisfying to have a place for everything. i found some old photos from high school in a box, total blast from the past. we looked so ridiculous. anyway, just wanted to share. have you started any new good shows lately? we need something new to binge on friday nights. let me know.
