I checked the map you sent over for the John Muir Trail section. The elevation gain around Donahue Pass is pretty significant but manageable if we take it slow on day one. I was thinking we could park at Tuolumne Meadows and hitch back, or maybe arrange a drop-off. Also, the permit situation is straightforward if we apply exactly 168 days ahead.
Let me know what dates work best for you. I have a BearVault canister you can borrow. I tested the route on my GPS app and it calculated about 12 miles per day. We can filter water from the streams so we won't need to carry more than 2 liters at a time. I'm aiming for late August to avoid the peak mosquito season.
Let's finalize the gear list this weekend. I also need to check if my old sleeping bag is still warm enough for the lower temperatures at altitude. We can hit the REI store next Thursday if you want to look at the new lightweight tents.

Regarding the Q3 report layout, I moved some elements around in the template to match the new branding guidelines. The primary color shift was the biggest change. I also updated the chart fonts to open sans. It took a bit longer than expected because the legacy data wasn't fully compatible with the new software version.
We had to manually check about 200 entries. For the next phase, we should plan a buffer day for data validation. The team lead mentioned we could use the conference room for the full-day workshop on Tuesday. I'll send over the final draft by end of day so everyone can review before the morning standup.
Let me know if you think we need to add a section for the Q4 projections or if we should keep it focused on the current quarter.
