Yeah, I totally agree with you about the garden layout. We went with raised beds this year and the tomatoes went crazy. I think we overwatered the basil at first though. I just finished that book you recommended. Honestly, I wasn't sure about the first few chapters because the pacing felt slow, but it really picked up midway.
