Yeah, I totally agree with you about the garden layout. We went with raised beds this year and the tomatoes went crazy. I think we overwatered the basil at first though. Next season I want to try a drip irrigation system. It's supposed to be way more efficient. Have you tried that? Let me know what you think about the mulch situation. We used cedar last time and it smelled amazing but maybe straw is cheaper. Anyway, hope you're having a great week! Let's catch up properly soon. I just finished that book you recommended. Honestly, I wasn't sure about the first few chapters because the pacing felt slow, but it really picked up midway. The character development of the main protagonist was surprisingly deep. I ended up staying up way too late finishing it. Do you have any other suggestions?
