I caught up with Sarah yesterday and she was telling me about her new garden project. She's been planting tomatoes and peppers and honestly I had no idea she was so into gardening. The whole setup sounds pretty impressive she built raised beds from scratch and installed a drip irrigation system. I told her I'd help her paint the fence next weekend since she helped me move last month. Anyway I also ran into Mark at the coffee shop and he said the hiking group is planning a trip to the redwoods in June. I might join if my schedule clears up. The weather has been really nice lately perfect for being outside. I finally started reading that book you recommended last year I know I'm late to it but better late than never right. The first few chapters are slow but it picks up after that. Let me know if you want to borrow my copy when I'm done.

I had the strangest thing happen at the grocery store this morning. I was just grabbing some coffee and a guy walks up to me and asks if I know anything about antique clocks. Like completely out of nowhere. I told him I don't but he kept talking anyway for about ten minutes. He said he inherited this huge grandfather clock from his aunt and it hasn't worked in years and he was trying to find someone to restore it. I felt bad for him honestly he seemed really passionate about it but I had no idea what to suggest. I just nodded and said good luck. Then I ran into my neighbor Luis who was buying way too many avocados and he joked that he was making guacamole for the whole block. I think he was serious. The whole morning just felt a little off but in a funny way. Anyway I finally tried that new bakery on fourth street and their sourdough is actually incredible. I got a loaf and it didn't last the afternoon. I'm going back tomorrow to try the cinnamon rolls. Let me know if you want me to grab you one. Also I finally fixed the shelf in the closet that's been crooked for months and I feel very accomplished about it. It only took me like an hour and a half and one trip to the hardware store. Pretty proud of myself honestly. Oh and the cat knocked over a plant again last night so that was fun to clean up. Same spot as last time. She's got a favorite corner I guess. Anyway hope your week is going well talk soon.
