Thanks for asking about the bookshelf I was building last weekend. I ended up using reclaimed pine boards and a dark walnut stain. The joints are all mortise and tenon, took me a few tries to get them tight. I also added a floating shelf on the top for small plants. The whole thing is about four feet tall, fits perfectly in the corner of the living room. I’ll send you a picture once I finish the second coat of polyurethane. Let me know if you want the plan dimensions.

I’ve been going through the batch of sourdough starter recipes you sent. The hydration percentage seems to make a huge difference in the crust texture. I tried a 78% hydration loaf with a mix of bread and whole wheat flour, and it turned out airy but not too open. I also started feeding it with rye flour once a week to add some tang. The trickiest part is timing the bulk fermentation with my work schedule. Let me know what flour blend you prefer for a consistent rise.
