Yeah I totally understand why you felt that way about the meeting. I think sometimes people just need a moment to process things before they can contribute meaningfully. I have been reading this book about team dynamics and it talks a lot about how silence in a discussion does not mean disengagement. It actually often means the opposite. Anyway I am glad we got to align on the next steps before the weekend. Let me know if you want to grab coffee next week to brainstorm the new project. I have some ideas I would love to run by you that might simplify our workflow a bit. No pressure though. Just thought it would be nice to chat outside of the usual setting for a change. Hope you have a great rest of your day.

I finally tried that recipe you sent me last month and it turned out amazing. I added a little extra seasoning and swapped the rice for quinoa which worked really well. The whole family loved it so I am definitely adding it to the regular rotation. Speaking of recipes I have been experimenting with fermenting vegetables at home. I started with sauerkraut and just moved on to kimchi. It is surprisingly easy once you get the hang of the ratios. You just need salt time and patience. I will bring you a jar next time we meet if you are interested. Also I have been thinking about signing up for that pottery class downtown. I need a creative outlet that does not involve a screen. Let me know if you would want to join me. It could be fun to learn something new together.
