Yeah I finally made it out to that trail you mentioned last month 7nVBNoC2psQn the weather was perfect for it and the view from the top was incredible. I brought a packed lunch and just sat there for about an hour taking it all in. The path was a bit muddy in spots from the rain earlier in the week but nothing too bad. I think next time I will bring a friend along because it is the kind of place you want to share with someone. Thanks again for the recommendation it was exactly what I needed to reset this week. We should plan a group hike for next month maybe somewhere with a waterfall along the way. I have been looking at maps of the area and there are a few routes that could work for everyone regardless of experience level.

I started listening to that podcast series you told me about and I am completely hooked now. The way they break down each topic is so easy to follow and the storytelling is top notch. I finished the first three episodes on my commute this morning and already feel like I am learning something new every day. The host has a really calming voice which helps when I am stuck in traffic. I think you would really enjoy the episode about urban gardening even though that is not usually your thing. Let me know if you want to borrow my headphones for your next road trip. I can send you the link to the first episode whenever you are ready to give it a try. There is a whole series of episodes about local food systems that reminded me of that farmers market we visited last summer. The host interviewed several growers and the conversation completely changed how I think about seasonal eating. You would appreciate the practical tips they shared about preserving extra produce. I have already tried a few of their methods and they work surprisingly well even in a small kitchen. Let me know what you think when you get a chance to listen.
