Hey, thanks for asking about the trail. Yeah, we finally went last weekend and it was amazing. The weather held up perfectly, and the path was mostly dry except for a couple of muddy spots near the creek. We started early around 7 AM just to beat the crowd, and honestly that made all the difference. Saw a deer about halfway up, just standing there watching us. xpMGmiwjmpuwr Took some photos obviously. The lookout point at the top is absolutely worth the climb. It took us about 3 hours to summit with a few short breaks. I'd say just bring plenty of water and maybe a light jacket because it gets breezy. Let me know if you want the GPS coordinates I saved.

I tried that new pasta recipe you sent me. It was surprisingly easy to put together. I used whole wheat pasta instead of regular and it still turned out great. The sauce was the key part, lots of garlic and fresh basil. I added a bit of lemon zest at the end like you suggested, and it really brightened it up. We had it with a simple side salad. Even the kids liked it, which is always a win. I am going to make it again for the potluck next week. Do you have any recommendations for a good dessert that travels well? I was thinking maybe a cobbler or some bars. Let me know what you think.
