I just wanted to say thanks for the help the other day with the garden. The soil mixture you recommended worked perfectly and I was able to get all the rose bushes planted before the rain came. I also picked up some lavender and a few herbs to put along the walkway. My neighbor came over to see what I was doing and ended up staying for a couple of hours helping me water everything in. It was really nice to catch up with them. I think the whole project is going to look great once everything starts blooming in the spring. I will definitely keep you posted on how it grows. Anyway, hope you have a great weekend and thanks again for all the advice you gave me!

I finally replaced the old doorknobs in the house this weekend. It was one of those projects I had been putting off for ages because I thought it would be complicated but it actually turned out to be pretty straightforward. I got some nice brushed nickel ones that match the modern light fixtures I put in last month. The whole house already looks a lot more cohesive. I still need to touch up the paint on a couple of the doors but that is a project for another weekend. I am just glad to have those old brass handles gone. It is funny how swapping out small details can make such a big difference in how the place feels. Let me know if you need any help with your place or if you want to grab coffee next week.
