The trail difficulty is moderate at best with an elevation gain of about 800 feet over 2 miles, so it’s not too strenuous. We did it last spring and it took us about 3 hours with a few breaks. The views from the top are worth it because you can see the entire valley and on clear days, the mountain range in the distance. Make sure to bring plenty of water and some snacks. There’s a stream about halfway up where you can filter more water if needed. The trail is well-marked with signs at every junction so getting lost is unlikely. We parked at the main lot and it was full by 8am on a Saturday, so getting there early is advisable. The trailhead has restrooms and a picnic area too. We also saw some deer and a variety of birds along the way. The terrain varies from packed dirt to rocky sections near the summit. There are a few benches placed at scenic overlooks where you can rest and take photos. The weather can change quickly so bringing a light jacket is recommended even on sunny days.

The desk layout works best as a corner desk for that space since you would have room for a monitor and still have surface area for writing. The natural light from the window would come from your left if you face the corner, which is ideal for reducing glare on the screen. For storage, floating shelves above the desk keep the floor clear and a small filing cabinet under the desk handles paperwork. Cable management can be hidden behind the desk leg using adhesive clips. The room has two outlets on the north wall so you would need a power strip. Paint color should be something light like a warm white or soft gray to keep the space feeling open. You might also consider a desk with built-in wire management channels to keep cords organized. A monitor arm can free up even more surface space and allow you to adjust the screen height. Adding a small plant or a few personal items makes the space feel more inviting. The floor area is large enough for a rolling chair and a small side table for a printer or extra supplies. Lighting should be adjustable so you can change brightness depending on the time of day.
