I ended up going with a different stain than what you suggested because the hardware store was out of the one you recommended. I tried that new ramen place downtown you mentioned and honestly it was just okay. The broth was pretty rich but the noodles were a bit too soft for my taste. I think I still prefer the spot on 5th street. They have a spicy miso that is way more flavorful and the portions are bigger too. I did like the atmosphere though — really cozy and the staff were nice. Maybe we can grab lunch there sometime if you want to try it yourself. Also I been meaning to ask if you still have that camping gear I lent you last summer. No rush but I'm planning a trip next month and would love to use it again. Let me know when you're free.
