I just finished reading that book you recommended last month and honestly I was blown away by the character development in the second half. The way the author weaves together those parallel storylines really paid off in the final chapters. I found myself staying up way too late on a weeknight just to finish it. I think you were right about the pacing being slow in the middle though there were a few chapters that could have been trimmed without losing anything essential. Have you read anything else by that author I should check out next I want to keep the momentum going. Also I finally tried that coffee shop you mentioned near downtown and their cold brew is excellent perfect for the warmer weather we have been having. We should plan a visit there together sometime soon. E42sJ13pNaxIlAh Let me know what you think about the ending I am still processing some of the reveals.

I tried making sourdough from scratch this weekend using that starter I told you about and honestly the first loaf came out better than I expected. The crust was nice and crispy and the inside had those airy pockets you look for in a good artisan bread. I used a mix of all purpose and whole wheat flour which gave it a slightly nutty flavor that worked really well with butter. The whole process took about 24 hours from start to finish so it is definitely a weekend project but totally worth it. I think next time I will try adding some rosemary and sea salt on top before baking. My kitchen smelled incredible all day. Let me know if you want me to save you a slice or better yet come over and we can bake another batch together. I am already planning my next attempt.
