After looking at the foundation measurements again I think we should pour the concrete next weekend instead of waiting. The forecast shows dry weather and the ground should be stable enough. We just need to make sure we have enough gravel for the base layer before we start. The forms are ready to go and I already checked with the supplier about delivery timing for the mix.
We also need to decide on the finish texture for the patio surface. I was thinking a light broom finish would give good traction without being too rough. Let me know if you prefer something different.

The book club meeting went really well last night and we decided to shift our reading schedule to every other week instead of monthly. Everyone agreed that the monthly pace felt too slow for keeping the discussions engaging and we were losing momentum between meetings.
We also voted on the next selection and it came down to two historical fiction novels. I'll send out the final pick once we get the confirmations from everyone who couldn't attend last night. We're also thinking about rotating the host location each time to keep things fresh.
