Yeah, I spent some time looking into the trail conditions near the Three Sisters Wilderness. The loop we discussed is about forty-seven miles with a little over six thousand feet of cumulative gain. I checked with the ranger station and they said the snow is mostly gone above six thousand feet, but there are still a few patches on north-facing slopes. Permits are required for overnight use, and they release a percentage of spots two weeks ahead. I think if we start early from the Pole Creek trailhead, we can make it to Camp Lake by late afternoon. The creek crossings should be manageable this time of year. I also confirmed that dogs are allowed on that route as long as they are leashed.
