Hey! I was just thinking about our conversation yesterday regarding the garden project. I found some really great resources online that outline the best plants for our climate zone. Apparently, lavender and rosemary thrive with minimal watering, which is perfect for the summer months. I'm planning to sketch out a layout this weekend if you want to come by and take a look. We could also discuss the best spot for the seating area you mentioned.
I also stumbled upon a blog about building raised beds using reclaimed wood. It seems like a cost-effective way to get started, and it gives the garden a rustic look. I have a few power tools we can use to cut the wood to size. We just need to make sure we get the measurements right so everything fits nicely in the corner of the yard. I'm really excited to get this going. It will be a great way to spend time outdoors and grow some of our own plants. Let me know if you have any other ideas or if you want to adjust the plan. I'm flexible and happy to work around your schedule.

Thanks for sending over that article about the new hiking trail. I read it this morning and the views look absolutely stunning. I checked the weather forecast for next Saturday and it looks like it will be clear skies with a high of around 75 degrees, which is perfect hiking weather. I was thinking we could start early to avoid the midday heat and maybe pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at the summit. I can bring my portable speaker so we can have some music while we relax up there. Also, don't forget to bring plenty of water and some sunscreen. The trail is about 6 miles round trip with moderate elevation gain, so it should take us around 3 to 4 hours. Let me know if you are still up for it and if you want to invite anyone else from the group.
