Hey, I finally got around to reading that book you recommended. It was a lot denser than I expected but really rewarding once I got into the rhythm.
I had a few questions about the third chapter though. Do you remember the part where the main character meets the old scientist? I wasn't sure if that was supposed to be a metaphor or if it actually happened.
Also, I started making that pasta dish you told me about. The sauce was way too thick the first time, but I added a bit of pasta water and it worked perfectly.
Thanks again for the recommendation — I'm planning to finish the whole series by next month.
Let me know if you want to grab coffee sometime and discuss it in person. I'm free most afternoons this week.
Hope all is well on your end!

Hope you're doing well. We've been trying to get the garden sorted before the weather changes.
I ended up planting a mix of perennials this year — lavender, some coreopsis, and a few echinacea. The soil needed a lot of work first though.
Also, I signed up for that evening pottery class we talked about. The first session was messy but really fun. The instructor said I have a good sense of form.
Let me know if you want to join next week — they still have a couple of spots open.
On another note, I finally fixed the squeaky door in the hallway. Just needed a little lubricant on the hinges. Such a simple fix.
Anyway, I'll send you some pictures of the garden once things start blooming. Talk soon!
