Yeah I think starting with the soil assessment makes the most sense. You will want to test the pH and nutrient levels first before deciding on amendments. The south-facing section gets the most light so that is where the tomatoes and peppers should go. For the shaded areas you could plant leafy greens and herbs. I would suggest mapping out the beds on paper first to visualize the spacing. The compost pile should be placed near the water source for easy access.

The key is to stagger the shifts so we have coverage throughout the day. I think having two people in the morning and three in the afternoon would work best for the setup phase. You could take the early slot and I will handle the coordination from midday onward. The equipment needs to be checked out by noon so we should prioritize that task first.
