Yeah the Skyline Trail loop would work well for Saturday. It's roughly 5.5 miles with steady elevation gain but the mountain views are impressive. Starting at 7am should help us avoid the worst of the crowds and secure parking. I can handle snacks and water for the group. The forecast shows partly cloudy with highs near 65 which is good for hiking. Let me know if extra layers would be helpful given the wind at higher elevations. I'll check trail conditions the night before and send an update. We should plan on bringing at least two liters of water per person and some trail mix for energy. The trail has some rocky sections so good footwear will be important. I think this will be a really nice day out.

The tomato seedlings I started indoors last month are coming along nicely. I moved them into larger pots yesterday and they're adjusting well. I'm trying Cherokee Purple this year based on a recommendation and they're supposed to have good flavor. I also put in some basil and rosemary alongside them. I need to set up the drip irrigation this weekend before temperatures climb. The raised beds could use some compost worked into the soil. I should have enough seedlings to share if you want some for your garden. The peppers are still small but they should take off once the weather warms up consistently. I'm hoping to have a good harvest by late summer if everything goes according to plan.
