I looked into the hiking trail you recommended and it looks like a solid route for next weekend. The elevation gain is moderate and the total distance is around seven miles which should take us about four hours with breaks. We will need to bring plenty of water and maybe a light jacket since the forecast shows a chance of afternoon showers.
