Yeah, I finally got around to reading that book you recommended last month. I have to say, the first few chapters felt a bit slow but once I got past the setup it really pulled me in. The character development is honestly some of the best I've seen in that genre. I found myself staying up way too late on a weeknight just to finish one more chapter. There's a section around the middle where the author shifts perspective and it totally changes how you see the main conflict. I think you'd appreciate the way they handle the themes of memory and identity nhcNzcMwM4C and how those connect to the broader narrative arc throughout the story. It reminded me a bit of that novel we discussed during the trip last year, though this one has a much more optimistic ending. I'm already looking forward to discussing it with you once you've had a chance to read it too. Let me know when you start it and I'll share some of my annotations. There are a few passages I marked that I think you'll find particularly interesting given your perspective on narrative structure. I also discovered that the author published a short story collection a few years ago that explores similar ideas, so I might pick that up next.

I finally finished reorganizing the garage over the weekend and it feels like a completely different space. I installed some new shelving units along the back wall and added pegboards for all the tools that were scattered across the workbench. The best part is that I can now actually park the car inside without having to navigate around boxes and equipment gathered over the years. I found some old project materials I had forgotten about, including that set of woodworking tools I bought a couple years ago. I might actually start on that bookshelf design I sketched out back then. The lighting situation still needs improvement though. I'm thinking of adding some LED strip lights under the upper cabinets to brighten up the work area. Overall it took about three weekends of sorting and organizing but the result is worth the effort. It's nice to have a dedicated space where everything has a place and I can actually find things when I need them. Let me know if you want any tips for your own organization project. I took some before and after photos that really show the difference and I'd be happy to share them.
