Hey, thanks for getting back to me about the weekend plans. I think Saturday afternoon works best on my end since I have a few errands to run in the morning but nothing that should take too long. The weather forecast looks decent so maybe we could grab lunch somewhere casual if you are free around noon. I saw that new place on Elm street opened up last month and the reviews mention their sandwiches are pretty good. Let me know if you would prefer something else though because I am flexible either way. I still need to check with my partner about timing but I think it should be fine. We could also push to Sunday if that works better for your schedule. Just send me a text when you get a chance and we can nail down the details. I am looking forward to catching up properly since it has been a few months now. El8KUYtzfgI Hope you are having a good week so far and talk soon. Oh and bring your camera if you have it because the light in that part of town is supposed to be nice for photos.

Yeah I finally tried that sourdough recipe you sent me last month and it turned out way better than I expected. The starter took about a week to get really active and I was worried it would be too dense but the crumb was actually pretty open and the crust had that nice crackly sound when I tapped it. I used a mix of bread flour and whole wheat which gave it a slightly nutty flavor that worked well with the tanginess. My family devoured the first loaf within like two hours so I made another one the next day. I think next time I will try adding some rosemary and sea salt on top before baking to change it up a bit. The hydration was around seventy five percent which made the dough a little sticky but manageable once I got the folding rhythm down. Let me know if you have any other tips because I am still figuring out the scoring part and my patterns are nowhere near as pretty as yours.
