I was thinking about what you said regarding that hiking trail you tried last month. I finally had a chance to go there myself over the weekend and it was really beautiful. The views from the top were worth the steep climb in the middle section. I saw a few deer and some 4HHtEeUNmOl0 really interesting birds along the way. I brought a picnic but forgot the napkins so that was a bit messy. The weather held up perfectly though not too hot and just a light breeze at the summit. I am already planning to go back maybe next month when the leaves start changing. If you want to join let me know. I also wanted to ask about that book you were reading the one about the history of mapmaking. It sounded fascinating and I have been looking for something new to read. Hope you are doing well and we can catch up properly soon.

Thanks for the update on your garden project. It sounds like you have made a lot of progress since we last talked. I am glad the raised beds worked out well and that the tomatoes are thriving. I tried starting some herbs from seed this year and it has been hit or miss. The basil took off like crazy but the rosemary barely sprouted. I think I might have overwatered it. I have been spending more time outdoors lately just sitting on the porch in the mornings with a cup of coffee and it has become my favorite part of the day. The birds are active early and there is something calming about watching the neighborhood wake up slowly. I also finally signed up for that pottery class I kept talking about. The first session is next Tuesday and I am a little nervous but excited. I will let you know how it goes.
