hey thanks for the note about the meetup this weekend! i think saturday afternoon would work best for me since I have a volunteering thing in the morning but that wraps up by noon. i can bring snacks or drinks whatever you need just let me know. also did you see the photos from that hike last month i finally got them organized and they turned out really nice. i was thinking we could do a potluck style so nobody has to cook too much. let me know what everyone else thinks and we can lock down a time. also if anyone has dietary stuff just say something and i can plan accordingly. i know a couple people are trying to eat lighter these days so i can bring a salad or something healthy too. anyway let me know what works for the group and i will be there for sure.
also i wanted to ask about the book club selection for next month i heard someone mention a mystery novel and i am totally into that. if we need to pick something soon i can throw out a couple titles i have been meaning to read. just shoot me a message when you get a chance. hope everyone is doing well.

hey i saw your message about the garden project and i think we should go with the raised bed approach honestly it will save so much back pain later and the soil drainage is way better. i built one last spring and the tomatoes went crazy. i used untreated cedar because it lasts longer and doesnt leach anything weird into the dirt. if you want i can send you the plans i used they were pretty simple and i had it assembled in like two hours. also make sure you put landscape fabric under it unless you want to fight weeds all season. i learned that one the hard way.
also what kind of soil mix are you thinking about using i found a blend of compost peat moss and vermiculite that worked really well for me. you can get bags of each at the garden center and mix them yourself for way cheaper than the pre-made stuff. let me know if you need help hauling anything i have a truck and weekends are open for me. anyway those are my two cents hope it helps.
