Hey, thanks for the note earlier. I ended up taking a different route on that project after all. The weather here has been pretty wild lately — lots of rain and then suddenly heat waves. My neighbor's dog keeps getting into my yard no matter what I try. I think I'm going to look into a simple fence solution just to give myself some peace of mind. Also, I finally tried that barbecue place you recommended and it was incredible. The brisket just melted. We should definitely plan a weekend trip soon, maybe somewhere with hiking trails and a good diner. Let me know what you think when you get a chance. I've been tinkering with the layout of the living room and it's starting to feel much more open. J0HN6rYyaNwo I still need to find a good lamp for the corner though. Anyway, hope things are going well on your end. Talk soon.

Oh, I completely forgot to mention — I finally put together that bookshelf I bought a few months ago. It ended up taking longer than I expected but it looks really nice in the corner of the study. The instructions were a bit confusing at first but once I sorted the pieces by size it all came together. I also tried making sourdough from scratch last weekend. The first attempt was a little dense but the second loaf had a nice crust and the inside was actually pretty airy. I've been watching a lot of tutorial videos lately. There's this one channel that breaks everything down into really simple steps which helps a lot. My cat sat on the counter and watched me knead the dough the whole time. She seemed very curious about the process. I'm thinking about trying a cinnamon swirl variation next time. Also, I found a great little park near my place with a nice walking trail. I've been going there in the evenings when the weather cooperates. The trees are starting to change color which makes the whole path look beautiful. I need to remember to bring my camera next time.
