I think the best approach would be to start with the soil preparation first since that really determines how well everything grows later on. You want to make sure you've got good drainage and the right pH balance before you even think about planting. I usually test a few spots in the yard to see where the sun hits during the day and plan the layout accordingly. It also helps to sketch out a rough diagram so you know exactly where each type goes before you start digging.

For the raised beds I found that cedar holds up really well compared to other woods and doesn't need any chemical treatment. You can get pre-cut kits or build your own depending on how handy you feel. Just make sure the depth is at least twelve inches for root vegetables.

The main thing I noticed was how the pacing shifted in the second half of the season compared to the first. They spent a lot more time developing the side characters which I actually appreciated because it gave more context to the main storyline. I wasn't sure about the direction at first but by the end it all came together pretty nicely.

For the next project I think we should try a different approach with the lighting setup since the afternoon sessions tend to cast harsh shadows. Maybe we can schedule earlier in the morning or find a spot with more overhead cover to diffuse the light better.
