oh I totally forgot to reply to your message about the lawn mower. Honestly I'd just borrow your neighbor's if he's offering because buying one for a small yard feels like overkill. We rented a tiller last spring for the garden and it was the right call. I finally planted the tomatoes and peppers last weekend so now we wait and hope the squirrels don't find them first. Last year they dug up half my seedlings and I was so annoyed. I ended up putting mesh wire around the beds and that helped some. Anyway if you want to borrow my sprayer for the weeds just grab it from the garage. I'm not using it until next month.
