Yeah I totally agree with you on that. We finally tried that new coffee shop downtown last weekend and honestly it was way better than I expected. The barista recommended a lavender latte and I was skeptical at first but it was actually really good. My partner got the cold brew with oat milk and said it was smooth. We ended up staying for almost two hours just chatting and watching people walk by. The weather was perfect too not too hot not too cold just right for sitting outside. I think you'd really like the vibe there it's got those big windows and lots of plants. Anyway we should definitely plan to go together sometime maybe next Saturday if you're free. Let me know what you think about that place if you've been already. I'm curious if they have good pastries because we didn't try any this time but I heard the almond croissant is excellent. So I finally decided to reorganize my home office and it took way longer than I thought it would. I moved the desk to face the window instead of the wall and it makes such a difference in how the room feels. The lighting is so much better now. I also found some old notebooks from college that had some pretty funny notes in them. I might have kept them just for the nostalgia honestly. My cat was extremely helpful during this process by sitting on every single thing I tried to move. At one point she was inside a box that I was trying to fill and just stared at me like I was the one being unreasonable. Anyway the space feels much more functional now and I actually want to spend time in there which is new. Let me know if you want any tips for your own setup. I also picked up a couple of small plants to put on the windowsill and they really brighten things up. The whole project took about three weekends but I'm really happy with how it turned out.
