Yeah I totally get what you mean about that hike we did last weekend. The trail was a lot steeper than I expected and my legs are still feeling it today. I think next time we should pack more snacks because we ran out way before the summit. Also the weather turned so fast up there one minute it was sunny the next we were pulling out our jackets. I checked the forecast for next Saturday and it looks clear so maybe we can try the ridge loop instead. I heard the views from the top are incredible on a clear day. Let me know if you want to carpool again because parking was a mess last time. I can grab coffee on the way if we leave early enough.

I finally got around to watching that documentary you recommended and honestly it was way better than I thought it would be. The cinematography was stunning and the story about the family who built that house by hand over ten years really stuck with me. I actually paused it a few times just to look up some of the locations because they looked so unreal. My favorite part was when they talked about the old oak tree in the backyard and how it shaped every decision they made about the layout. I told my sister about it and she wants to borrow the link so I said I would forward it to her. Anyway thanks again for the suggestion because I would never have found it on my own. Let me know if you have any other recommendations because I am on a roll with finding good stuff to watch lately. I tried looking for that other one you mentioned about the ceramics artist but I could not find it streaming anywhere yet. Maybe it will show up next month. 0pln2nGhWw I also started reading that book about the history of color pigments and it is absolutely fascinating did you know that certain blues were once more expensive than gold. I keep telling everyone at work about it whether they want to hear it or not.
