Just finished reading your message about the hiking trail. I checked the map and it looks like the loop is about six miles with moderate elevation gain. I have done a few similar trails in the area and the views are usually worth the effort. We should go early to beat the heat and bring plenty of water. I also read that the wildflowers are supposed to be in full bloom next month. Let me know if you want to carpool. I can pick you up around six thirty if that works. I also need to stop by the outdoor store to grab some new trekking poles. I will send you the exact route I mapped out so we can plan the rest stops.
