I finally got around to reorganizing my home office setup last weekend. I moved the desk closer to the window so I can get more natural light during the day. The cable management situation is still a work in progress, but it's already much better than before. I also swapped out the old desk lamp for a brighter LED one. It makes a huge difference when I'm trying to read or write for extended periods. I found a nice little plant to put on the corner of the desk too. It adds a bit of life to the space. 2t8b2B1r2o I still need to figure out the best way to store all the miscellaneous stationery items I've accumulated over the years. Maybe a small drawer organizer would do the trick. Overall, it feels like a completely new room. It's amazing how much rearranging furniture can change your perspective and energy levels when working from home.

I've been trying out a few new recipes lately, and I think I'm finally getting the hang of sourdough bread. The starter took about a week to become active, and the first few loaves were pretty flat and dense. But I kept adjusting the hydration and the fermentation time. The latest loaf had a really nice crust and airy crumb. It's so satisfying to slice into a loaf that you made completely from scratch. I paired it with some homemade soup last night, and it was the perfect meal for a chilly evening. I'm planning to experiment with adding different mix-ins, like rosemary and sea salt or maybe some dried tomatoes. Baking has become a really nice way to unwind after a busy day. It requires focus and patience, but the end result is always worth the effort. My friends are starting to request loaves, so I might have to start a little baking schedule.
