Hey, I finally saw that documentary you recommended. It was way more interesting than I expected, especially the part about the early experiments. The pacing was a bit slow in the middle, but the ending really tied everything together. I think you'd enjoy the follow-up interview they released last month. I'll send you the link if I can find it. By the way, how did your garden turn out this year? Did the tomatoes survive that late frost? I tried a new fertilizer mix and it seemed to help, but the rabbits got to my lettuce anyway. Let's catch up soon and chat about it. I still owe you that recipe for the bread we had at the picnic. Hope you're doing well!

Oh, I’m glad you asked about the hiking trip. It was fantastic, though we got caught in that unexpected rain shower. Luckily we had packed ponchos, so it wasn’t too bad. The trail was muddy but the view at the summit made up for it. We took lots of pictures—the wildflowers were in full bloom. I’ll share some with you when I get them sorted. On the way back we stopped at a little diner and had the best apple pie. Reminded me of the one my grandma used to make. Let’s plan something similar next month, maybe a kayak trip if the weather holds. I can bring the coolers. Let me know what works for you.
