So I ended up at the farmer's market this morning and it was completely packed. I guess everyone had the same idea about getting there early before the heat settled in. I picked up some amazing heirloom tomatoes and a loaf of sourdough that was still warm when I bought it. The basil smelled incredible too so I grabbed a big bunch. I'm planning to make a simple caprese salad later with a good olive oil and some flaky salt. The woman who runs the honey stall gave me a sample of her blackberry honey and I had to buy a jar. It has this deep almost jammy flavor that I think would be incredible drizzled over vanilla ice cream. I also saw a guy playing acoustic guitar near the flower section and he was actually really good. He was playing some old folk songs and a bunch of people stopped to listen. It was one of those perfect late summer mornings where everything just feels right. Anyway I just wanted to share that little slice of my day with you. Hope you're having a good week too. 1orwRpn1b9HjdHJ Let me know if you want to try some of the honey next time we catch up.

I finally started organizing the garage last weekend and honestly it felt like a full-time job for a couple of days. I found so much stuff I forgot I even had. There were boxes of old books and vinyl records that I keep meaning to go through. I unearthed my old fishing gear which was a nice surprise. I think I'm going to take it out next weekend if the weather holds up. I also came across a box of photos from college which was a wild trip down memory lane. It's funny how you just accumulate things over the years. I ended up donating three garbage bags full of clothes and random household items that were just sitting there. The space feels so much better now. I can actually park my car in the garage again which is a novelty. I still need to organize the workbench area but I'm calling the first phase a win. My neighbor saw me hauling bags out and asked if I was finally decluttering. I guess it's been a long time coming. Anyway feels good to start the season with a little more order. Let me know how the project you were working on turned out.
