I looked into the trail conditions for this weekend and everything seems favorable. The recent dry weather has kept the paths clear and the ranger station confirmed there are no closures. I was thinking we could meet at the parking lot around 6:30 AM to secure a spot since it gets crowded. The loop is about 8 miles with moderate elevation gain so we should plan for 4 to 5 hours total including breaks. Make sure to bring layers as the temperature drops significantly near the summit. I will pack snacks and a lunch for everyone. Let me know if you need me to carry anything extra in my pack. Also the wildflowers should be at peak bloom which will make for some good photo opportunities along the ridge trail. The forecast shows mostly sunny skies with a slight breeze in the afternoon. I will bring a map and compass as well just to be safe. There is a stream crossing about halfway through so waterproof boots might be a good idea. I can also bring my camera to capture some shots of the valley from the overlook. Let me know if you have any dietary preferences for the snacks.

Regarding the volunteer schedule for next month I reviewed the sign-up sheet and noticed we still need coverage for the morning shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can adjust my availability to help fill those gaps if needed. The coordinator mentioned that training materials will be sent out next week so everyone can review procedures beforehand. I think we should also set up a quick check-in call to align on priorities for the upcoming projects. Let me know what time works best for a 30 minute meeting. I have also compiled a list of frequently asked questions that might be useful for new volunteers. Happy to share that document once it is finalized. Also I wanted to ask about the team lunch next Friday. I can bring a salad or some pastries depending on what everyone prefers. Let me know if there is a sign-up sheet for food items. I will also bring some extra napkins and plates just in case. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the training schedule.
